MacGyver Solutions & Military ATV.com were established by Mike Jackson to enable the warfighter and those that support him. Easing access to the information needed to obtain repair parts and information on motorcycles, ATVs, utility vehicles, LTATV, GMV, NSCV and FOSOV. With dozens of makes and models deployed, it was important that the operator not have to visit multiple websites; or contact multiple suppliers for information.

Mike Jackson is President of MacGyver Solutions, Inc (aka MilitaryAtv.com) and acts as an advisor of government sales opportunities to multiple companies. He developed the MilitaryATV.com web portal to provide forward deployed troops and the contractors that support them with timely and accurate information on the LTATV family of vehicles. Working with World of Powersports, Inc in Decatur, Illinois, the largest OEM Parts dealer in the country; Mike is able to supply Kawasaki, Polaris, Can-Am, KTM, Honda, Yamaha and other motorcycles, ATVs and side by side vehicles, parts, support and training to commercial and government accounts. Military atv parts and side by side parts are provided direct from OEMs or dealer partners by MacGyver Solutions.

MacGyver Solutions, Inc is a service disabled business (SDVOSB) and Certified HUBZone Small Business Concern (HUBZone) with over twenty years of experience in the powersports industry; including multiple assignments consulting on supply chain improvement.

Jackson has held position as President and CEO of B1 Logistics; a 3rd party logistics center handling order fulfillment for the powersport industry and has held board and advisory positions at multiple automotive and powersports dealerships.

Enlisting in the Army during high school, Mike served from 1982 to 1992 with final MOS of 18E4PD9 – Special Forces Communications Sergeant and position as the Battalion S-6 NCOIC at 3rd Battalion 1st Special Forces Group (Airborne), Ft. Lewis Washington. Earlier in his career he was a Calvary Scout in the 4/68 and 3/73 Armor – 82nd Airborne – Ft. Bragg, NC and an OPFOR Scout Sniper in 1/509th PIR (JRTC) – Ft. Chaffee, AR. In addition to his military training Mike studied Accounting as an undergrad and has an M.B.A. from the University of Illinois.

The MilitaryAtv.com website was first established in 2006 when Polaris approached Mike offering the opportunity to assist in filling sustainment orders for the MV700 ATV. After speaking with dozens of soldiers and seeing how difficult it was to obtain repair information; manuals and parts information and troubleshooting assistance through normal channels; Mike began developing the website www.militaryatvparts.com; and then later this site www.militaryatv.com.

Director of Training

Our Director of Training is Mike Evock; a Retired Special Forces Chief Warrant Officer Three (CW3).  Mike served with the 82nd Airborne at Ft. Bragg, NC before joining Special Forces as an 18B Weapons Sergeant; later becoming a Special Forces Warrant Officer (180A) Mike commanded a Special Forces Operational Detachment Alpha (ODA) on numerous sensitive missions. An AM General certified Master Technician and ASE Master Technician, ATVSI Instructor, Oshkosh certified Instructor and ROHVA Driver Coach. Chief Evock utilized a military atv on numerous missions and was key in developing safety programs for soldiers, writing POIs and conducting training while still active duty.

Mr Evock has been continuously involved in military off-road vehicle operation in a wide spectrum of terrain. He has conducted over 500 successful combat operations without any vehicle malfunctions. Evock’s experience ranges from the Jungles of South America to the Sands of Southern Afghanistan, to the mountainous rocky terrain of Northeast Afghanistan. 

Non-Profit Support

In addition to managing training for Military ATV .com, Mike Evock is also the founder and throttle behind the non-profit Racing for Heroes; an organization that brings veterans together to race and get their adrenaline running to combat the effects of Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) and Post Traumatic Stress (PTS) and operates his own training company RFH Tactical Mobility, LLC.
